Its highly negligence act by amazon team for leaking customer product order details. Today i recieved a call identifying themselves as amazon sales and promotion department and they first shared my product order details with me to earn my trust and than told me that i have won a lucky draw on the basis of product ordered on 10th march 2021. They gave me 3 options to select from that are : one plus 8 pro dell inspiron 15.6 sony bravia LED and asked me to purchase items worth Rs 5000 to redeem this offer. Later they asked me to pay GST for the electronic item and the amount was asked three times due to some transaction issue so the total amount went Rs 41000 including that 5000 .. I encountered similar incident as mentioned above today.
Firstly, how did they get to know what I have ordered from Amazon & that is one reason I responded to their call. Rest of the modus operandi is the same as mentioned above.
GST payment to be made to some account mentioned as Jeff Bajaj.
The calls I received were from these two numbers +91 7703098960 & +91 8902870561 ( this was live on what's app too)
The person on line were Ms Poonam & Mr. Abhay Kumar
They kept on asking to make Google pay payments for the items selected in Amazon.
How did they have access to our Amazon account live ???
