My Husband received call from one Mr.Randip Singh on 20.7.22 enquired about rental house which we had posted in Magic bricks and our house is located in Coimbatore. He said he's an army person and has a small family and wanted to get our house for rent. We never ever thought he was a fraud until he played the game of gpay fund transfer today afternoon. We do not know how he got our personal phone number which we never registered in magic bricks, but he called in our personal number and said he wanted pay the advance wherein amount has to be paid from his army merchant account. For that initially he asked us to transfer Rs.5 to his account and immediately he returned the amount to our account too. Later, he asked my husband to pay Rs. 49995 to his account and said he will be remitting the amount immediately. Only then, we were panicked due to this kind of approach for fund transfer and when we asked him to transfer through other modes which he refused and he was compelling us to complete the transaction. We were alerted and immediately disconnected the line. Though we didn't pay anything, we are worried whether he will hack the bank account because he has traced the account details.
