I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a fraudulent activity that has occurred through the mobile application Credit Go - Credit Assessment. On [insert date], I checked my loan eligibility on this application. However, without my approval or consent, an amount of Rs. 2520 was transferred to my bank account.
Following this after 5 days, I began receiving numerous WhatsApp messages and text messages from unknown numbers, demanding that I repay Rs. 4200, which is significantly higher than the amount deposited. When I refused to comply, these individuals threatened to harass me by calling my relatives and further threatened to send explicit images, claiming they would send nude pictures to my contacts if I failed to pay.
These messages and threats have caused me immense mental stress and are clearly attempts at extortion and defamation. I believe this is a cybercrime of serious concern, as they are misusing personal data and threatening my privacy.
I kindly request you to take immediate action against the individuals or entities responsible for this criminal act. I am attaching all relevant information, including screenshots of the messages and details of the unauthorized loan transaction.
