I was looking for some used PS4 games and OLX and came across the below ad

I contacted the seller and we struck a deal of 2400 for two games. The seller asked me to make a payment to his paytm number. I did so and he acknowledged it. This was done on august 10 I contacted the seller the next day for tracking details and he did not reply till august 11 night. He said he had shipped it and will send the tracking id the next day.
When I tried to contact him on OLX the next day, again there was no reply. I sent a few SMS and also called him the night of 11th august. I got no response.
On the 13th of august, I got a reply from him saying that he sent the bill copy to me. I said I didn't receive it. After that there was no reply. He acted like he didn't get my message though OLX showed that it was read.
I got a message from the paytm number that I sent the money to asking for who I was and threatened to report me for hacking their paytm account.
I said that I made a transaction to this number and sent proof of the same. The concerned person replied that the account has been hacked by someone.
Now I do not know how to proceed on this. I also do now know where the problem is and who is cheating me. I have proof of the transaction on paytm and screenshots of some of the chat with the user on my phone.
Now the user has deleted this ad and all his other ads on OLX and the chat got deleted when I clicked on it. I do have screenshots of the chat as well as the transaction history on paytm.
Note; I am not sharing the number here for privacy reasons.
