Recently I booked a hotel room at Pondichery. Instead any hotel Makemytrip booked rooms in a shared lodge. It was difficult to find the place. Once we reached in the morning and post making numerous call to Makemytrip were asked to wait till 7pm in the evening to check in to rooms without even soap and bedsheets. The rooms were located on second floor of a building which has a provision store on the ground floor. No lift to reach second floor. No person to help carry your luggage to second floor. Makemytrip charged me 4000+ for the room which as per the attender of lodge was approx 800+.
