Fraud under online delivery

Alert: I have received one sms message and than within half an hour a delivery boy came to my home for delivery of parcel. Which I have never ordered or booked. He asked for cash money rs. 699/- . I was ready to give him money but felt that I haven't order this parcel as there Amazon and Myntra stamp was missing. That person started to force me for cash payment. I said return it to sender. But he was not ready and than we noticed there were no sender name on the parcel. Actually I used to order on Amazon and Myntra regularly and do COD.
I think most probably someone collected my information from any delivery boy or order receipt pasted on packet/ bag. Which we throw as garbage.
God saved my money at last moment. my concern is that this kind of people must be cheating with many innocent citizen of India.

(I am replacing order no with abc and xyz here.)

I also received this kind of SMS today. The order amount is Rs. 2999. Lets see what happens.

I got the message now. I think its an order from amazon coz i didn't place any order from olmarteshop. The actual seller in amazon is Cloud fair which already got cancelled before. And i am not going to take it.

@SouravMandal i also got the same msg after my order was cancelled for the seller CLOUDFAIR . I think he is the one who is giving the info of buyer

same here  .... anyone who paid n rcvd.. did u find any hard disk ..which cloud fair was selling.. or can we ask the delivery boy to first open the parcel n then pay ?? is tht poss ??

n i did order on amazon... 4 tb hard disk...for cloud fair..but here the seller changed to olmarteshop....so i think both the names are the same person.. jus changing names

Don't take delivery.i too have ordered the 2999/ 4tb disk by cod.i was aware that Amazon cancelled my order.. however later I got a message regarding shipping that you guys also received.justa while ago a delivery boy came with the parcel.. I asked him to open and payment Will be done after verification..he refused my request.The parcel itself is a big giveaway about its contents..it's very light (no brick inside) for a 4 TB hard drive let alone a 2.5" drive.The seller is simply not smart enough.i have a pic of the box with me with a return address..I think the address too must be fake

I never ordered anything from this seller. Although I remember couple of days ago I ordered a hard disk from Amazon which was cancelled.

Don't receive the parcel, guys. It's a scam. I'd request you to check the tracking link in the message, and find detailed scan reports, which should say that the Origin city is Surat. It's the same in all cases. It's a Scam. Try to get the exact address of the sender from Delhivery, if possible, only then something can be done.
