I have posted my flat for rent in Housing.com, i have received a cal from one of the Army Officer Named Anil, has provided PAN, AAdhar, Canteen Card as proof. Later i got a call from Captain saying Army will send you the amount, kindly add our account and send me the account, it will be refunded with your advance payment. Its a Fraud, he has given me the HDFC Bank details and asked to add in the Gpay so that they will refund the same.
Thank you so much for this heads up. My parents just put a an advertisement on housing.com for their rental property and we got the same call from an Army person named Sachin Sharma (but a lady posing as his wife called this time) They were ready to confirm the flat even without seeing the pictures and we found something fishy. That's when we got a notification of ARMY fraud from housing.com and subsequently found your entry on a google search. Terrible times. We really need to be aware!
Similar incident has happened with me, Army officer texting me on WhatsApp! Once Anil Kumar and other one Deepak Pawar, sending all identification ID, canteen proof and were in a hurry to submit the money via GPay or PhonePe. I insisted them to visit the property and then we could prepare the rent agreement and police verification, but what he insisted me to take payment from him. I cut the call, and he tried calling me multiple times and last time I received his call, he was so furious and angry asking me why am I cutting his call. LOL, everything was so fishy since the starting!!
Two calls I received both from Army offices, both within an hour the ads gone live!!! Thank god I saw the warning on housing.com. SAVED.

Such a fruad scammer this people are please save yourself this people should understand that what army is they protect our nation but this are the scammer how are using our army they don't know that i was also from army that's why I saved myself
