Onstream Loan App Scam & Identity Theft

On 24th Nov 2021 & every week thrice I got SMS with a link without any Subject or Reason for sending this link. I decided to check what is this link, when I clicked I was routed to a random URL shorten website to redirect to another random website and I didn't noticed app (.apk) file was downloaded. After a week my antivirus notification pops and gives me an generic option to delete unwanted downloaded files to delete, as usual I double check & this app was installed on that day and after a day reading out reviews in Playstore & YouTube, Facebook, I uninstalled. Since Mid February 2022 they have been calling me & few of my WhatsApp contacts & sharing my Information Like Aadhar, Pan Card & My contact list Screenshots stating that I've taken a loan & not paid back. These callers accents sounds similar to Assam, They use VoIP numbers, Apart from Hindi they weren't able to speak in any other languages. Rude might be a small word to describe how they speak and abusive acts, Never Click on any URL which they will send to track via cookies or payment app links of Google pay, also report the reviews as not helpful and on every Fake Name Reviews of App, Just Made out Name, Random People Pictures reviews if anything occurred then also take 3 to 4 mins just click on reviews and see 5 stat reviews and legit reviews make it as useful and others as not plus on every review top right side you can mark it as spam and if contacted them document these Female callers, Multiple times I have asked them to share information via Email or anything in black & white legit papers, They will only share Screenshots but No Emails, Also most important piece of information is I have asked them several times about UPI Reference Number or Any confirmation of transaction acknowledgement from my Bank so that I can cross check with my finance team & bank statements, instead they will share thier hand customised app editing screenshots which is clearly visible anyone can find out & also clicked pictures of their records but NEVER DISCLOSED UPI Reference number or Transaction reference number. So I would request each and everyone one of you folks out there to do not entertain do not signup for apps like this to avoid such harrasments. Fortunately most of folks, in particular Victims of OnStream have also reached out through various social platforms to file complaint, assisting and creating awareness of Legit companies. Kindly report this app on Playstore, second, Locally consult a lawyer and seek a legal assistance or legal counselling on steps of filing and addressing this concern to Legal authorities to bring this scammers to justice. do share all information that has been inhumane harrasments
