I received call from Delhi stating Samsung mobile is been offered at discounted rate with cod basis. They confirmed for hand to hand return policy if any fraudulent / suspicious thing is observed. The parcel was send by Pickrr through Blue Dart courier services.
Blue Dart seems doesn't did due diligence while accepting the parcel, they should have scanned the parcel and asked for Invoice copy to handle parcel delivery as well for COD.
When Blue Dart courier boy came for delivering the parcel, I made him spoke over mobile to the person who has send the parcel and confirm the hand to hand return. When we opened the parcel in front of the courier boy, we found parcel filled with metal pieces instead of mobile phone. I was assured by Blue Dart courier boy as well delivery center manager that they will hold the cash at there end and will not transfer. However, when it was escalated to Blue Dart security team for investigation, the investigating officer is not ready to support holding payment transfer to the Parcel sending party, I requested him to hold the payment transfer till investigation is completed and use basis of fraud parcel to escalate the matter to hold the payment.
I have lodged Police complaint at Chatturshringi Police Station, Pune University.
