A couple of Muslim women were sitting on the bus. They asked to make a call, borrowed my mobile, and dialed the number 1800121170170. After the call, a message appeared on my phone, which they noted down.
Later, I received a notification on my mobile saying, "Your mobile is connected to an untrusted app."
I immediately filed a complaint with the Cyber Security team. They installed the M-Kavach application on my phone, which identified risky and hidden apps. These were removed. Additionally, the message that the women had noted down was automatically deleted.
The Cyber Security team confirmed that my mobile is now safe.
